The latest on Digital Library statistics showed that there are now more than 700 instances of Dspace at more than 70 different countries in the world. According to a recent survey conducted by a recognized organization among the Academicians and Librarians in US, majority of them favored DSpace as opposed to other Digital Library Solution.

As part of our endeavour, we are organizing a national level workshop on Dspace @ Ahmedabad. We are in the process of finalizing the dates. We are sending introduction mails to prospective speakers. The expected dates for the worshop is tentatively decided to be somewhere between January - February 2010.

We are expecting close to 100 delegates from different universities in India and more than 10 distinguished speakers and Technical Experts on Dspace. This workshop would be spread over a period of 2 days.
